VRWiki is a MediaWiki site, allowing you to edit most content to your heart's content, as long as some simple rules are followed. The site also sports a powerful visual editor to make things easier.

Keep in mind that this site is edited by others and you will frequently trip over each other.

Rules

We have a few simple rules made necessary by our host and addressing problems caused by a number of conflicting communities butting heads.

Warning: Not following these rules can result in consequences.
  1. Do not break US law. It doesn't matter if you're in the EU, Asia, or Cuba - Our host is in the US and is subject to these laws.
    1. Do not post things that can get us into trouble. This includes pornographic or obscene materials, copyrighted content, reverse-engineered game code, etc. If you're not sure, ask a wiki operator.
    2. Do not post cheats, hacks, warez, etc. These can often contain backdoors or other trojans, and can get us into trouble (see DMCA, our host's ToS).
      1. Exception: Non-malicious and non-pirating modifications to VR games this wiki covers. Example: MelonLoader mods for ChilloutVR.
  2. No politics, culture war bullshit (any side), religious/atheistic material, nor other hot-button topics. These topics can result in edit wars and we have enough shit to do already.
  3. No spam, soliciting, nor advertising. We aren't your personal classifieds.
  4. No drama. We don't get involved in accusations of grooming, sexual assault, abuse, conspiracies, etc. Often these claims can result in flame wars, edit wars, spamming, and counter-atrocities. The sad, ironic part is many of these claims end up being investigated and found to be unfounded BS cooked up by someone who felt wronged by the defendant. It's best to just not get involved and let the authorities in question do their thing.
  5. All moderation decisions are final. Actions can be appealed by the individual affected by the action (and ONLY that individual in question) via private channels in a respectful manner. Spamming forums and Discords trying to get unblocked will only cement your situation. Third parties stirring shit will also get suspended.

Any questions can be directed to User_Talk:N3X15.
